Conservatives investing in Hull

Hull Conservatives have lobbied the Chancellor hard and have kept our promise we made to you at the 2019 General Election. Our region will be one of the first in the country to be granted freeport status - a shining example of the Conservatives commitment to our city. The policy will deliver an estimated 7,000 jobs for our community,

The announcement will create special tax zones across the four main ports on the Humber estuary, encouraging investment and job creation in our area. This is levelling up in action, the Conservatives are investing in the future economy of Hull and Hessle, ensuring we can capitalise on the global decarbonisation push whilst cementing the Humber's role in building back better post the pandemic.
