The Autumn 2021 Conservative Budget brought more good news for Hull, with another of our promises delivered to you. The Chancellor, Rishi Sunak has announced Hull will be awarded £19.5m funding from our Levelling Up Fund.
Hull Conservatives have lobbied the Chancellor hard and have kept our promise we made to you at the 2019 General Election. Our region will be one of the first in the country to be granted freeport status - a shining example of the Conservatives commitment to our city.
