Rachel Storer is the hard working Parliamentary Candidate for West Hull and Haltemprice. Rachel is passionate about our local communities and with your vote Rachel hopes to deliver the change we need in West Hull and Haltemprice.
Rachel grew up in a working class family and faced challenges early on as her father passed away and her Mothers poor mental health meant that she had to become a care giver. The difficulties Rachel faced during this upbringing instilled in Rachel resilience, empathy, and a passion for improvement, qualities she utilises in all aspects of her life.
Rachel is a strong believer in personal responsibility and will use this sense of justice and desire to make a positive impact and speak up for the residents of Hull West and Haltemprice. Rachel is now married and has 5 grown up children and two grandchildren.
Rachel is passionate about music and small live music venues. Rachel also enjoys reading and spending time with her family and their adopted Greyhound Claude.
Rachel has a wide range of experience with her career spanning business and public service. Previously Rachel had a successful career in the fitness industry having built a business with a strong commitment to improving their personal health.
Rachel also engages in voluntary work and currently volunteers at a charity offering out of hours support to adults with poor mental health. Rachel is also a Conservative Policy forum ambassador helping to shape local policy.
Having previously been a business owner Rachel understands both the challenges and rewards that come with setting up a small business, this is why Rachel will work alongside our home-grown businesses and aspiring entrepreneurs and with Government to remove barriers in order to create an environment which can ensure businesses thrive.
